On 27 March Hamdard University Bangladesh organized a discussion meeting on the occasion of Independence Day 2021 at its Multipurpose Hallroom.

In the discussion meeting, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan was the chief guest while Treasurer of the University Dr. Chowdhury Md. Babul Hassan was present as a special guest. The Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Abul Khair presided over the meeting. Besides,  Dean (In-charge) of the Faculty of Business Administration Dr. Md. Farooq Hossan, Controller of Examinations Md. Nurul Huda, Head of English Department Dr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Head of Mathematics Department Dr. Md. Jahirul Haque Munshi,  Head of Ayurvedic Medicine Dr. Babul Akter, Head of CSE Department Engr. Md. Monowar Hossain, all faculty members, officers, and staff were present. The welcome speech was given by the Registrar of the University Dr. Md. Moazzom Hossain.

At the end of the program, a special doa program was held for the salvation of the departed souls of all the freedom fighters.
